I have noticed in her YouTube videos on English that I have watched so far that she is too serious about learning English as if she is competing with THOUSANDS of English-speaking American girls. This is a very unhealthy and irrational attitude. English is the "mother tongue" of English-speaking American girls who cannot speak Hindi/Urdu as fluently as Aleena can. (Hindi and Urdu are the same language, by the way, except for their different scripts.) No one - including all American girls - knows from the moment of birth the meanings and spellings and pronunciations of all English words they now know and use, which they have gradually learned one by one over the years. I have to constantly check My English dictionaries to confirm the pronunciations of English words before I publish any Anchor podcast in English, which is very frustrating. (Hindi, Bengali, Assamese are phonetically spelled languages, unlike English which is said to be the most troublesome language in regard to spelling and pronunciation.)

I got the 20-volume McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology from a bookstore in Guwahati which kindly accepted payment in monthly instalments; I also bought from the same bookstore - Standard Literature (near the DGP office in Ulubari, Guwahati, capital of Assam; probably does not exist any more) - "THE NEW ILLUSTRATED SCIENCE AND INVENTION ENCYCLOPEDIA" (26 volumes) (H. S. STUTTMAN INC./Marshall Cavendish Limited) AND the very interesting and easy to understand 28-volume "GROWING UP WITH SCIENCE" (also published by H. S. STUTTMAN INC./Marshall Cavendish Limited) - I paid for these multi-volume encyclopedias in monthly installments. I think Standard Literature no longer offers instalment payment facilty for dictionaries and encyclopedias; perhaps they trusted Me fully but got unpleasant shocks from some customers who forgot to pay their monthly installments in time. I bought from an Indian book agent a costly but high quality medical dictionary "MOSBY'S MEDICAL DICTIONARY, 9th edition" (ELSEVIER) for about Rs. 3000 - but the agent first corresponded with Me to confirm if I really wanted to buy that costly medical dictionary! (I want to point out that I don't have a single paisa of illegal money. So BENEATH My dignity. Cannot even IMAGINE. Unthinkable.) TOO LENGTHY 

The biggest reason for My skipping YouTube videos is their EXCESSIVE duration. The very first thing I always find out before I decide to watch any YouTube video is its length. If it is less than 5 minutes (and if the title indicates that it is probably going to be interesting to Me), it is likely that I will watch the video. If it is more than 5 minutes but LESS than ten minutes, and seems likely to be interesting or important, I may still watch it. But if it is MORE than 10 minutes, I generally want to skip it, unless out of courtesy or if it is an interesting interview or discussion about a topic important to Me, such as literature. I don't pretend to keep watching any lengthy YouTube video out of courtesy - I think there are apps that inform the speaker (I generally watch YouTube videos by and with females; most male videos seem to have the voice of Satan/Peter) if the video was watched fully or abruptly abandoned - but I sometimes fall asleep out of tiredness or boredom while the video goes on and on without Me listening to it. But I have recently started to skip videos if I feel very bored after a few minutes - "Dr." Brene Brown and Jhumpa Lahiri Vourvoulias भुलभुलैया (INTETPRETER OF MALA DIES) are VERY BORING, for example. Both sound very insincere and fishy. Arrogant "Book Break", supporter of evil NaNoWriMo, is too full of herself, and arrogantly dismisses authentic and revealing story "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" - she seems full of HATE and MALICE and WICKEDNESS and is extremely repulsive and satanic, hiding behind the fake name "Book Break" and hiding among identical-looking clones.

Advertisers Mr. "Vineeta Chauhan Classes" and Mr. "Rakesh Meena sir" seem to have been paid by the internationally famous New York publisher McGraw-Hill with branches in India, UK, Japan etc. to advertise "McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia Of Science & Technology" on YouTube. The smart Indian advertisers have rightly targeted librarians because the multi-volume technical encyclopedia is for reference sections of big libraries, not for personal libraries of individual readers. (I was lucky that I made use of a big discount offer when I bought the 20-volume McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia Of Science & Technology, whose price was then about 1 lakh rupees - Rs. 1,00,000 - but Standard Literature was at that time selling the set for a much smaller price, for about Rs. 10,000 or Rs. 15,000 - I don't remember the exact amount - payable in EMI. Having this invaluable high standard science and technology multi-volume set in My personal library gave Me tremendous confidence.) When I bought the 1-volume "McGraw-Hill Concise Encyclopedia of Science & Technology" many years ago (on EMI), its price was about Rs. 2000. It gives VERY READABLE SHORT SUMMARIES of the long articles in the 20-volume "McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia Of Science and Technology". If possible, college and university professors of all SCIENCE departments should have a copy of "McGraw-Hill Concise Encyclopedia of Science & Technology" whose articles should be read before reading the longer corresponding articles in the 20-volume "McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia Of Science and Technology". (The fascinating categories in "THE COMPREHENSIVE WORD GUIDE" by Norman Lewis can be read first to fully enjoy the corresponding major categories in "THE NEW ROGET'S THESSURUS IN DICTIONARY FORM" by Norman Lewis. Interesting and easy-to-understand entries in 28-volume "GROWING UP WITH SCIENCE" (published by H. S. Stuttman / Cavendish) can be read before reading the corresponding entries in the 26-volume "SCIENCE AND INVENTION ENCYCLOPEDIA" (ALSO published by H. S. Stuttman/Cavendish) for full understanding.

Two men got out of the car.

Reacher's mantra: get your retaliation in first. Especially when outnumbered two to one against guys with youth and energy on their side.

But. He wasn't sure. Not yet. Not then. He let the moment pass. 

He said, 'So what's your legal advice?'

'Conduct unbecoming,' the guy said. 'You brought the unit into disrepute. A court martial would hurt us all. So you should get the hell out of town, right now. And you should never come back again.'

'No one mentioned a court martial.' 

'Not yet. But they will.'

Reacher said nothing.

The guy said, 'So that's our legal advice.'

Reacher said, 'Noted.'

'You need to do more than note it.'

'Do I?'

'Because we're offering an incentive.'

'What kind?'

'Every night we find you still here, we're going to kick your ass.'

'Are you?'

'Starting tonight. So you'll get the right general idea about what to do.'

Reacher said, 'You ever bought an electrical appliance?'

'What's that got to do with anything?'

'I saw one once, in a store. It had a yellow label on the back. It said if you messed with it you ran the risk of death or serious injury.'

'So?'

'Pretend I've got the same kind of label.'

'We're not worried about you, old man.'

Old man. Reacher saw an image of his father in his mind. Stan Reacher, born in Laconia, with a wife and two teenage sons. Reacher and his brother had called him the old man.

'Turn around,' Reacher said. 'Go back wherever you came from.'

'Not how we see it.'

'I used to do this for a living,' Reacher said. 'But you know that, right?' 

No response.

'I know all the moves,' Reacher said. 'I invented some of them.'

No reply.

They were just dumb kids. No need to get all bent out of shape. No need for torn flesh and broken bones.

Their sneakers meant they had no plans to kick him. No one kicks things with soft white athletic shoes. No point. Unless they were aiming to deliver blows with their feet merely for the points value alone. Like one of those martial arts fetishes with a name like something off a Chinese food menu. Tae kwon do, and so on. All very well at the Olympic Games, but hopeless on the street. Lifting your leg like a dog at a hydrant was just begging to get beat. Begging to get kicked into unconsciousness.

Did these guys even know that? Were they looking at his own feet? Reacher was wearing a pair of heavy boots. Comfortable, and durable. He planned to keep on wearing them all winter long.

He said, 'I'm going inside now.'

No response.

He said, 'Goodnight.'

No response.

Reacher half turned towards his door, and like he knew they would, the two guys moved towards him, faster than he was moving, ready to grab him.

They lay there, gasping, still conscious.

Merciful,under the circumstances. Benevolent. Considerate. Soft, even.

Old man.

Old enough to be their father.

By that point Reacher had been in Virginia less than three hours.

The very dangerous Jack Reacher character is obviously written by the ghost writer with Me in mind. Jack Reacher certainly reminds Me of Myself: quiet and very dangerous.

"Aw right!" whooped the kid who had sailed the plate. He raised his fist in triumph as his buddies applauded.

"Way to go, Danny!" yelled the redhead. "That sure takes care of ol' man Cuthbert."

"I wanna do one," said the reedy boy with the ghost of a mustache.

"Griswold this time," Danny decided. "The creep flunked me on that stupid math test." 

The boys pushed dollar bills at Isaac, who stuffed the money in the cashbox and handed out clean white plates and marking pens. The kids set to work sketching the faces of their enemies on the crockery.
