A Lunar Episode The scene was one of supernatural weirdness. Tall, fantastic mountains reared their peaks over a waste of igneous rock and burned-out lava beds. Deep lakes of black water stood motionless as glass under frowning crags, from which ever and anon dropped crumbled masses with a sullen plunge. Bitter cold reigned and ridges of black and shapeless rocks cut the horizon on all sides. An extinct volcano loomed against a purple sky, black as night and old as the world. The firmament was studded with immense stars that shone with a wan and spectral light. Orion's belt hung high above. Aldebaran faintly shone millions of miles away, and the earth gleamed like a new-risen moon with a lurid, blood-like glow. BRAVE NEW WORLD  I have a strong feeling that "BRAVE NEW WORLD" by Aldous Huxley is an extremely important realistic science fiction novel because the novel deals with division of society into classes and keeping all members of society in a drugged state with soma [wine] and above all because the novel is also about making clones in cloning laboratories. There are "BRAVE NEW WORLD" movies on YouTube but I could not quite understand the story of "BRAVE NEW WORLD" when I saw the beginning of these movies and gave up. I found audio recordings of "BRAVE NEW WORLD" on YouTube but each is about eight hours long and besides the beginning is rather confusing and I could not make head or tail of it, not being able to see the wood for the trees, unable to get the main story because of obfuscating details. (I like to use a big word from time to time.) So it was a relief when I discovered an excellent two-part summary of "BRAVE NEW WORLD" on YouTub...
