I am pleasantly surprised that Mr. Lutfur Kamal, mathematics instructor at Ulubari Higher Secondary School, Guwahati, has started taking online classes to teach his six Class 12 H.S. Science students since yesterday. This is certainly very inspiring. One of the 6 students, Jitu Mani Barman, used My little LAVA 4G smartphone (with his Airtel sim inserted in it) yesterday for his first ever online mathematics class - I downloaded Google Meet - and he did the rest! Today, I let him use My bigger iBall 4G tablet (with his Airtel sim) in My study room (too much noise in his ramshackle  house - kids shouting, TV set blaring!) for his second online mathematics class - by first downloading Google Meet!

It is regrettable that students of such schools are often looked down upon and regarded as "ঢেকেৰী" by HALF-EDUCATED SNOBS - the six boys and girls have PROVED that they are VERY SMART by ADJUSTING SO FAST to online learning via Google Meet.

Dibrugarh University Radio

I am astonished and very pleased to find that Dibrugarh University already has its own Community Radio Station! (I wonder how Jadavpur University and Dibrugarh University both use 90.8 FM. Perhaps the range of each transmitter is small - about 10 km - I think many Indian educational institutions could use 90.8 FM - which seems to be a very convenient frequency. For national and international audiences, audio recordings should be uploaded on YouTube, it is easy to understand. 

I am an alumnus - an ex student - of Dibrugarh University, so I feel nostalgic when I remember My days at Dibrugarh University - My staying in the university hostel and attending our M.Sc. Physics classes. I wrote My poem LOVE and also a humorous piece - LAMENTATIONS OF A BEAUTY-CONSCIOUS YOUTH - for the Dibrugarh University wall magazine. My humorous essay was later published by The Sentinel, an English daily published from My home town Guwahati; I recently published My recitation of My immature poem LOVE as My Anchor podcast #046 (published on January 1, 2021).
