Indian policemen are so patient and seem so deaf to petty insults that to Me they look very funny on TV. (I suppose policemen of all countries behave like this!)

TOUCH WOOD

A brother-in-law bought a new Motorola smartphone (moto g8 power lite) for Me yesterday for Rs. 10,000 (CORRECTION* : Rs. 8,473 - an "offer" price?), which has the amazing cast feature that magnifies YouTube videos on Motorola smartphone screen onto much larger mi android TV screen that is connected to the Motorola smartphone by wi fi (the mi android TV was bought several months ago for Rs. 13,000) - no hassle. Touch wood! 

*[My consort, who accompanied her bro. to the mobile shop yesterday, has a habit of giving Me unreliable information. She did not show Me the receipt yesterday, which surprised Me. I asked her just now where is the receipt? She took it out from wherever she had kept it - पर्दाफास - not 10,000 but 8,473. I found from Google that Motorola is now a Chinese company. Peter etc. control "Chinese" companies? - G]

It is easy to enable the Motorola "cast" feature: settings - connected devices - connection preferences - enable wireless display. 

It seems that the cast feature works even when the hotspot on another smartphone is connected to Motorola smartphone by wi fi.

Again: touch wood! (Idiom; actually, I never literally touch wood - I am not superstitious!)

P.S. Hassles! Ouch! No cast! (And sound has disappeared!) Looking up YouTube, I find all sorts of remedies offered to get cast! I wonder if any of these remedies really work. A young Indian boy says in his YouTube video - "Oppo A3s or any mobiles को करो TV से connect / 2020 in hindi" (13:23) / Making Tech (YouTube) - the boy says that Chrome Cast gave problems, so the boy bought Amy Cast device for 600 rupees. Another YouTube video says, you should open wi fi (and update Oppo A3s) to get multi screen option. And so on. I think the moral is: "Don't be lazy! Start using your laptop!" - 5:40 p.m.
