I am always very skeptical/sceptical of anyone who extols Amazon, Patreon etc. Anyway, I liked the title of this video, which attracted Me to the video in the first place. I heard an Indian guy on a YouTube ad giving tips on how to sell your books - he says his first book had zero sale, but his next book sold 12,184 copies (or some such figure), sold from home (I think that's what he said), because he used a proven method. Two main things he says are: (1) in a library or a bookstore, everyone first looks at the title of the book on its spine; so make the title of your book interesting (2) when you look at a book catalog online, you look at the front cover; so make your front cover interesting. I would add a third principle: (3) the book's back cover should have an interesting short summary; make the blurb attractive!

I know that it is just not possible for God in human form to read and review thousands of books self-published by newbie writers but if He reads a few ARC (free Advanced Reader's Copy sent for "unbiased review", which is optional; having received the free copy, the Reader is not obliged to send an "unbiased review"; how thoughtful) copies and "reviews" some, not all the thousands of ARC copies, there could be a bloodbath - mass suicide or mass murder among the authortube girls. That's why I keep urging thousands of aspiring authortube girls to form A JOINT SELF-PUBLISHING HOUSE so that profits from any bestseller can be SHARED and there will be NO JEALOUSY. The best-selling authoress should get a BIGGER SHARE OF THE MONEY from her best-selling book, of course. It would be best if authortube girls form an Editorial Board authorized to select and send ARC copies for "unbiased review".

I can feel the frustration and pain Jenna is going through in regard to self-publishing, like all the other authortube girls. I wish I could help the authortube girls wanting to become rich bestselling authors overnight, in My humble capacity as A Reader. But I have to take several important things into consideration, familial peace being one of the uppermost things to be borne in mind by Me. Plus, if I read a novel by a newbie girl and give an unbiased review, all the other newbie girls may start crying and contemplate self-removal from this world. Plus, if I get thousands of ARC (Advanced Reader's Copy), how many can I read and review? If I read and review a few, all the others will accuse Me of bias though I am never biased. I believe that all s. girls are equal, though each is unique. (I will stop. I will not go further than this now.) I think I heard Mandi Lynn say she has put or will put on her website a book she has written and self-published, but I would then have to print all the pages to read and underline and make notes, and that would be rather expensive. And I just cannot afford to print from websites hundreds or thousands of books by self-published girls. On the other hand, if thousands of books arrive by mail, My innocent-looking consort (who offers Me 24×7 protection free of cost) may get suspicious if books keep coming endlessly from a bevy of American girls.
I often wonder how authortube girls and booktube girls and their spouses (when they have spouses) manage to survive - it seems IMPOSSIBLE that authortube girls earn a lot by chattering about bestsellers they are PLANNING to self-publish and it also seems IMPOSSIBLE that booktube girls earn a lot by chattering about books they have NOT read, and their spouses all seem to be henpecked and forced 24x7 to cater to the whims of cr. authortube girls and cr. booktube girls and so cannot work independently to earn enough. No one can survive on air.* I guess they get financial help from their understanding parents who know that their daughters and daughters-in-law have gone cr. about books, and are secretly scared that their sons and sons-in-law may eventually get cr. about books by associating night and day with their cr. daughters and daughters-in-law, but the parents are probably even more scared that their book-cr. bipolar daughters and bipolar daughters-in-law may turn violent if they are not allowed to have their way. See on YouTube a video about ASMR which is full of violent sounds to understand what I mean. Better safe than sorry.

Watching American authortube girls and booktube girls on YouTube, it seems that American girls are serious about writing and becoming authors. BUT I admit that this is a hasty conclusion unbecoming of A Strict Logician like Me. Watching just a few American girls talking excitedly about writing and self-publishing does not mean that ALL the millions of American girls are also like them and are very excited about writing and reading and self-publishing. Perhaps most American girls have little interest in writing or in reading books or in becoming self-published authors.
Similarly, observing that My consort never reads books and never writes but watches inane Indian TV serials and melodramatic Indian movies on TV and on YouTube and enjoyed childish TikTok videos (and now enjoys silly Zili and moj funny videos) and plays Ludo King, and makes endless calls (courtesy the Indian internet companies) to her near and dear ones (i.e. her 4 bros. and their families; she is the eldest, all her four brothers are younger than her; by the way, she has no sister, thank God - what a relief, right?), etc., childish activities which do not require any exercise of the intellect such as is required in reading books and in writing, BUT I would be indulging in hasty generalization if I conclude that crores of Indian females ALSO don't read and write.

Were they watching him, laughing quietly among themselves at his nervous gestures - his so obvious fear? Or were they spread out, guerrilla fashion? Crouched next to the earth or in the low limbs of the trees, ready to spring, prepared to kill?
And who would they kill? In what numbers and how armed would be Nimrod's forces? Would Nimrod [Kr.] come? Would Nimrod bring the girl he [James Matlock/Hitler] loved safely back to him? And if Nimrod did, if he finally saw Pat again, would the two of them be caught in the massacre which surely had to follow?
Who was Nimrod?
His breathing stopped. The muscles in his arms and legs contorted spastically, stiffened with fear. He closed his eyes tightly - to listen or to pray, he'd never really know, except that his beliefs excluded the existence of God.
Then he heard the quiet, tortured moan. It pierced into his brain.

He traced the sound and raced up the middle brick path. She was on her knees, her bandaged head against the earth. She had fallen. Rivulets of blood were on the back of her neck; the sutures in her head had broken. Under the bandages on her forehead were layers of three-inch adhesive tape, pushed brutally against the lids of her eyes - as secure and unmovable as a steel plate covering her face. To try and remove them would be a torture devised in hell.
He held her close and kept repeating her name over and over again.
"Everything will be all right now.... Everything will be all right...."
Suddenly, without warning, without any warning at all, the blinded girl screamed, stretching her bruised body, her lacerated head.
"Let them have it, for God's sake! Whatever it is, give it to them!"
"I will, I will, my darling...."
"Please, Jamie! Don't let them touch me again! Ever again!"
"No, my darling. Not ever, not ever...."
"Take the tape off! Please take the tape off."
"I can't now, darling. It would hurt too much. In a little ..."

What could he do? What was he supposed to do? Oh, God! Oh, God, you son-of-a-bitching God! Tell me! Tell me!
"Nimrod! ... Nimrod! Come to me now, Nimrod! Bring your goddamn army! Come on and get it [immortality recipe], Nimrod! I've got it here!"
Through the following silence, he heard the footsteps.
Precise, surefooted, emphatic.
On the middle path, Nimrod came into view.
Adrian Sealfont stood on the edge of the flagstone circle.
"I'm sorry, James."
Matlock lowered the girl's head to the ground. His mind was incapable of functioning. His shock was so total that no words came, he couldn't assimilate the terrible, unbelievable fact in front of him. He rose slowly to his feet.
"Give it to me, James. You have your agreement. We'll take care of you."
"No.... No. No, I don't, I won't believe you! This isn't the way it can be...."
"I'm afraid it is." Sealfont snapped the fingers of his right hand. It was a signal.
"No.... No! No! No!" Matlock found that he was screaming. The girl, too, cried out. He turned to Sealfont. "They said you were taken away! I thought you were dead! I blamed myself for your death!"
"I wasn't taken, I was escorted. Give me the diaries." Sealfont, annoyed, snapped his fingers again. "And the Corsican [cf. Napoleon] paper. I trust you have both with you."
There was the slightest sound of a muffled cough, a rasp, an interrupted exclamation. Sealfont looked quickly behind him and spoke sharply to his unseen forces.
"Get out here!"

"Now James. Where is the letter you spoke of? Who has it?"
"Letter? What?"
"The letter that is to be mailed this morning. We'll stop it now, won't we?"
"I don't understand." [James] Matlock was trying, trying desperately to make contact with his senses.

I fell asleep in My chair as I listened to an authortube girl. Just woke up. Had a long refreshing sleep. I am an early riser. I can always listen to a YouTube video again if I have slept through it, if I think it's WORTH listening to. I have heard that there are people who read a book as a SOPORIFIC before going to bed.
