শকুন v. सकुन

In Bengali and Assamese, শকুন means VULTURE - but in Hindi, surprisingly, a similar-sounding word - "सकुन" (I think) - means peace, tranquillity, शान्ति (if I am not mistaken).

In Hindi, a vulture is called शगुन - slightly different from the very similar-sounding सकुन - peace - but what a world of difference in meaning and connotation!
