I do not remember seeing any Satyajit Ray black and white film. I am not trying to imply anything. I hardly watch movies anyway. I find them too long and hence very tedious. And though I was a student at St. Stephen's College in Delhi, I did not bother to go see Taj Mahal in moonlight or sunlight. Just plain moonshine.

WRITER Ruskin Bond / HORROR FICTION WRITER
I have the impression from his interviews on YouTube that Mr. Ruskin Bond is very well-read; he has read many quality books of fiction. But I find his stories for children very dull though in all fairness I should say I have read only one maybe, a story of a monkey which is included in CBSE English. I cannot show artificial excitement about his children's stories. He has great potential as a writer of fiction for grown-ups without monkeys in the stories. I suspect that he is being duped by the mass of adulating Nazis who look like "children" who PRETEND to find his dull children's stories very interesting and ACT AS IF they are his fans. I suspect that he could be a CLONE* of Me with his age accelerated and that he was brutally tortured by Satan and his gang of Nazis for many years in Nazi underground HELL - Alexander/Peter/HITLER being his foster father's name clearly points to this - but the Nazis got scared of Me and brought him to earth's surface and kept him in India under VIRTUAL HOUSE ARREST and showered him with the "Padma Shree" and "Padma Bhushan" and whatnot to FOOL everybody. My feeling is that Ruskin Bond could become a terrifying writer of horror fiction if he concentrates on the horror fiction genre describing torture in HELL. His own experiences in hell will add tremendous power to his fictional writing. I have a slim novel on HELL (I think) by "Dostoevsky" entitled "NOTES FROM THE UNDERGROUND" (Dover) but it lacks the power I would expect from future horror fiction short stories and novels by Ruskin Bond**.
