In Bengali and Assamese, শকুন means VULTURE - but in Hindi, surprisingly, a similar-sounding word - सकुन (I think) - means peace, tranquillity, शान्ति (if I am not mistaken).

In Hindi, a vulture is called शगुन - slightly different from similar-sounding सकुन - peace - what a world of difference from vulture!
