INDIAN FOOD

INDIAN FOOD

I find that Indian food is much tastier (of course depending on the changing whims of One's dharmapatnee who is fond of keeping unused cooked food in the fridge and resupplying that tasteless "preserved" cooked food again and again despite My repeated advice/warning to her to change her lazy habit for God's sake) than the tasteless boiled food eaten by Americans who don't know anything about tasty spices/masala. Perhaps I automatically use masala in My online posts because I like tasty masala in My food. I thank from the bottom of My heart (?!!) all Indian suppliers of rice and atta and maida and dal and milk and sewai and sugar and molasses and sugar substitutes and chira and moori and sooji and tasty potato chips and bhujia and papad and achar and jam and jelly and butter and ghee and fish and eggs (boiled egg with salt is always very tasty) and paneer and sweet milk products (rasagolla and sandesh and curd etc.) and vegetable and nonveg chops and cutlets and "momo" and samosa or singara etc. and potatoes and tomatoes (I like eating ripe tomatoes with salt) and onion (an omelette is easy to make and always very tasty) and brinjal and "lady's finger" and shosha and cabbage and olkopi and mirch and moola and other Indian vegetables (frankly I don't like gajar and palang saag). The "fish" My cousin brother and I bought in the Chicago "fish" market and ate with My uncle's family when I was in Chicago was tasteless unlike the tasty fish we get in India! Indian cauliflower is so tasty, but boiled "broccoli" I ate once or twice in America was terrible! Indian mangoes and jackfruit and pear and guava and lichoo etc. are so tasty but "avocado" was so tasteless!

cecelia ahern: THE YEAR I MET YOU

I read a CRYPTIC sentence in the STRANGE romantic novel "THE YEAR I MET YOU" by cecilia ahern [ahern LOOKS LIKE ahem!],  something like: "There is the public truth and there is the real truth." As I was glancing through the novel, I decided I would record and Anchor-podcast a very interesting excerpt (about Jasmine stalking the ECCENTRIC but very famous DJ Matt Marshall - rings a bell?) but podcasting is a new hobby for Me and I often feel very lazy and I cannot "publish" My Anchor podcast episodes as quickly as I can publish new posts on My Blogger/bp blog which I can do effortlessly.

"Keeping up the suspense, are You? Very clever." - Well, I have NOT said a single word that is untrue. I never lie. I hate lying. - "That does not mean You are not tantalizing us!"

BLUFFING AUTHOR & "REVIEWERS"

I have just watched Cecelia Ahern in an interview on YouTube* and it is so obvious to Me she has no idea what the romantic novel THE YEAR I MET YOU is about although the novel is by cecelia ahern (first letters c and a in small letters). The front cover of the novel is shown in the video but My guess is, there is NOTHING between the covers! A female "book reviewer" chatterbox (in her YouTube video)** keeps on chattering vaguely about the novel as if she has read it though it is obvious to Me that she has not even seen the novel but she makes a wild guess and says that Jasmine is a "workaholic" (smart "reviewer"!), like "author" Cecilia Ahern who also says that Jasmine is a "workaholic" (bah!) and quickly moves on to other novels she has written (smart girl!). I suspect that the interviewed "author" probably does not have the name Cecilia Ahern but is only pretending to have that name! If asked by her friends and relatives, she can tell them that the interviewed author on YouTube is someone who looks LIKE her, but not she herself! All behaving like the little girl gifted with a hyperactive imagination in the amusing short story with a surprise twist at the end "THE OPEN WINDOW" by Saki (H.H. Munro). [H.H. = His Highness / Her Highness ?!!]

MYSTERY SOLVED !

But what could be the REASON for this strange state of affairs? For a long time, I have been puzzling over this and very similar problems, and I now feel certain that I have the right answer. A great detective story. (To be continued.) Here it is. A weird, out of the box solution that will take your breath away, I guarantee. A solution very hard to believe, and never before heard of - but the only solution to the strange puzzle... A single copy of the book is printed with advertisements on the book's cover claiming that it is a "bestseller" that has sold "millions of copies" and strategically placed in a local bookshop / bookstore near My house or one I often visit and buy books from, hoping that when I enter that bookshop / bookstore I will be attracted to that book and being A Bibliophile / Bibliomaniac, I will buy the book and read it and post a nice review of the book in My blog and let the whole world know about it! Ha ha ha! Mystery solved!
