* mnemonic: DARLING KINDER SLAY

This reminds Me that when I was a young student of (then all-male) St. Stephen's College, Delhi, many years ago, a senior student of the college, whenever he saw Me from a distance in our college hostel, would call Me affectionately, singing KISS AND LOVE, cleverly changing My poetic first name Kishalay (which means young shoot of a plant) to a romantic love song! (Kishalay is pronounced KI SHO LOY.) When we were asked to introduce ourselves at UIUC, where I had just joined as a Ph.D. (graduate) student in the UIUC department of physiology and biophysics, I pointed out the amusing fact that My first name Kishalay (young shoot of a plant) belongs to the plant kingdom and My surname Sinha (lion) belongs to the animal kingdom! (A Robot is neither a plant nor an animal but A Heartless Being.)
