OPAL KOBOI
I must admit that I have never talked to Opal Koboi face to face. I begged and pleaded with my fairy contacts, but there was nothing anyone could do. Opal Koboi is fairy public enemy number one, and there is no way a human is going to get within a thousand kilometres of her. Foaly did manage to slip me a snippet of video from her trial. I watched it with interest.
She doesn't look dangerous. This little doll-faced pixie. If you saw her on the street, you'd help her find her mother. But look into her eyes, and the madness there is frightening. During the trial, the prosecutor asked her: Why, Miss Koboi? Why did you do it?
And she turned those cold, dead eyes on him and said: I did it because nobody thought it was possible. It was obvious to me, and to everyone in the courtroom that Opal Koboi did not care about all the lives that could have been lost. Not one whit.
Having seen that video, I'm glad I have never talked to Opal. I never want to.

EOIN COLFER
Eoin (pronounced 'Owen') Colfer... How he ended up as Artemis Fowl's official biographer is something of a mystery. Colfer claims that the Fowl lawyers contacted him. Artemis Fowl swears that he had never heard of Eoin Colfer until both their names appeared on the cover of his unauthorised biography. There is a rumour that the two met some years ago in the catacombs beneath Dublin Castle. Nobody knows for sure what happened down there, but a source close to Colfer says that he came out of that meeting with grey hair and no money.
However, whether Artemis likes it or not, the Colfer biographies have been hugely successful, climbing to the top of the charts worldwide and winning numerous awards.
Colder still lives somewhere in Ireland but he would not supply the exact address, as he has no wish to have another meeting with Artemis or his bodyguard, Butler.

Ayn Rand set out to portray the ideal man by creating Howard Roark, the hero of her novel "FOUNTAINHEAD", who, I suspect, is actually based on A Guy with a strong personality Whom the author had heard or seen or met in real life. Ayn Rand is a pen name of the author, I think. The novel is a work of fiction, of course. In real life, I don't think the author's Model Guy ever fell in love with any actress.

The book reviewer has a sad, tragic, pain-filled voice, and pours out his heart in this warm review of a book he was told not to read because it was garbage: "fuck it, I liked it ... I am an adult now, I am 33 years old ... I had a real hard time in high school ... ADB or ADHB ... I am an intelligent person but I got terrible grades ... I was just very bored in high school ... while I was there I saw these really dumb people getting really good grades ... a valedictorian of my high school went to Harvard, I remember her teaching me how to cheat ... what is Harvard if it's full of people like this who cheat? ... she didn't seem to have any integrity ... CHAPTER 1: Present Day
A blinking camera on the ceiling reminds me that 'The System' is watching my every move ... I haven't slept in days as cries of prisoners being subjected to flogging ring out across the empty nights.
So I lie awake, and I think, mostly about her. I have heard tales that she is still alive, my beloved Shakthi.
I have heard tell that she is now one of the 'Women Power United' [WPU] militants, a group of outlaws. They ['The System'] probably wiped out her memories with the memostik treatment and programmed her through their telly propaganda to fight for their cause. Now a part of me wished that she would be able to evade capture, but they got to you sooner or later. If you were a man [Nazi], The System would grab you and if you were a woman, you would eventually be recruited to fight for the cause of the WPU (often against your own will).
