SINNER ?

Some years ago, a young guy I was crossing on the footpath /sidewalk in Guwahati gave Me a printed leaflet which was a free invitation to a function that was going to be held at the local District Library auditorium by a group of Christians from Korea. At home, I thought the Korean Christians would feel sad and hurt if their function was thinly attended. So I decided to make the foreigners happy by being present at their function and adding One more to the number of attendees present. I appeared punctually at the District Library auditorium at about 2 pm and wrote My name and address and mobile phone number and My religion and signed My name in the attendance register I was asked by the female receptionist (sitting at the reception counter in front of the entrance door of the District Library auditorium) to fill in and sign. 

When I entered the auditorium, I saw that it was almost empty at first and then started filling one by one almost entirely by male and female Christian "tribals". I saw charming young s. Korean Christian girls in pants and male Christian Koreans dancing and rehearsing old Hindi film songs like MERA JOOTA HAI JAPANI on the stage. After about thirty minutes of rehearsal and mike setting, the function started with songs and dances on the stage and then an elderly Christian Korean preacher spoke about how the lives of these Koreans (who were a bunch of former drug addicts and prostitutes) had changed dramatically when they became Christians and so were "saved" by Jesus Christ. Then the Korean preacher started reading Bible passages in Korean from a Korean Bible which were then simultaneously translated into English by a male Christian (he was reading from an English Bible; I don't think he understood Korean) and also into Assamese by a female Christian (she was reading from an Assamese Bible; I don't think she understood Korran), both of the "translators" being members of a local Christian church. Then came the main, crucial part of the entire function - the Korean Christian preacher asked male and female members of the assembled Christian audience to raise their hands if anyone in the audience believed that he or she was a born sinner and that Jesus Christ had saved him or her. ALL (except Me) raised his or hands to confess that he or she is a "born sinner" and Jesus Christ had "saved" him or her. As for Me, I REFUSED TO RAISE MY HANDS and sat defiantly in My chair. Who the hell is f. Jesus Christ to insultingly declare that all are "born sinners", and how the hell is f. "Jesus Christ" the one and only "Savior"/"Saviour" of all "born sinners"? This is FUCKING NONSENSE. 

Some time later, when I was at home, a female voice called Me and asked Me in Assamese if I believed I was a sinner. I told her angrily that I was definitely NOT a "sinner". She asked Me, did I not get angry sometimes, and that being angry is a sin. I told her, I have to show anger if it is necessary and such anger is not a sin. I cut off our conversation in anger. Then an sms message came to Me asking Me to attend the local church on Sunday next. I did not respond. Then another female called Me and asked Me in Assamese to go to their local church next Sunday. I told her, "Look. I went to that function of Korean Christian guys only out of courtesy and out of sympathy to those Korean foreigners [ex prostitutes and drug addicts]. I am a Hindu. It would look bad if I openly and publicly attended a Church. What would My Hindu wife and My Hindu mother-in-law think?" She told Me: "I am also a Hindu." I saw that it was useless to argue with her, so I disconnected My phone. Then a second sms came from that church asking Me to attend their church on Sunday. This time I sent an sms with the warning that if I received another sms or phone call, I would take drastic action. There was not a single phone call or a single sms after My serious warning.
