Rachel, I am not at all surprised that you got divorced. No big deal. I have the impression that Americans keep getting married and then keep getting divorced as if marriage is just a very childish game not to be taken seriously. I have read that the American actress Elizabeth Taylor married and divorced five or six times - her last husband was also her first husband actor Richard Burton. I am not implying that divorce is fun for all Americans - it may be a very traumatic experience for the wife and children of a guy if he was earning for the family but suddenly he decided to leave them after having a lot of fun with his wife, now his ex wife. - G
