celibate v. chaste
celibate v. chaste
Brahmachari (perennial celibate)
You are.
Oh ...
And I am in eternal wait for You
For You will return
To pay my love's due.
I hurl a questionnaire
Like a sheaf of arrows before You
Why You destroyed
With Your divine power
My demonic persona Mahishi
Who wanted to live with her own
Cursed life woven with
The course [coarse] yarn of
Ugliness and inhumanity.
Why you [You] extracted my dark soul
Confined in the deep and abysmal cavern
Of the long mountain ranges
And infused in me
The nectar of love
And blessed me with the paragon beauty
Of the cursed lady.
Is it because of Your
Sinister desire to burn
Me within the conflagration
Of my tidal youth
In eternal wait for you?
And it is more painful
Than be in my demonic persona of Mahishi.
Now I am quite aware that the flow of devotees
Will never be exhausted.
And so,
I want to let you [You] know,
I am in eternal wait though
But it is not for You
For I have accepted my damned fate
And unwittingly married
With the never-ending Wait.
Be prepared to encounter my refusal
If You ever come
With Your promised proposal.
For if You are a perennial celibate
I am also a devoted chaste.
