Preeti Shenoy may be very very famous to you but I am sorry to say I bought a novel by Preeti Shenoy (I am sorry I cannot recall the name of the novel) about a year ago from a local book shop - and ALSO bought a novel by Savi Sharma AT THE SAME TIME from the SAME BOOKSTORE so that none of them should feel hurt or jealous of each other, and to ensure a level playing field - but frankly I have managed to read only one or two pages of both novels till now for lack of time and for some other reasons. Best of luck to all fledgling Indian bestselling authors over-hyped by foxes in the guise of publishers. (I realize that the struggling publishers are needy and they have discovered a huge market for novels in English written by Indian authors, s. females in particular.) - G
