শুনেছি আজকাল নাকি cable TV আর‌ satellite TV obsolete হয়ে যাচ্ছে (যেমন STD telephone booths obsolete হয়ে গেছে - replaced by smartphones যা এখন সবার কাছে পাবে) - smart TV is fast replacing cable TV and satellite TV যেগুলো এখন বেশি বাড়াবাড়ি করতে শুরু করেছে - অতি দর্পে হত লঙ্কা -- pride before fall - smartphones and smart TV are easily available throughout India on easy monthly instalments, I have heard. (But right now, I do not want to waste time watching TV coz I have lots of important things to do, so I don't want to buy even smart TV, but those who want to watch TV can certainly buy SMART TV sets.)
