FIRST WRITER to identify GOD

FIRST WRITER to identify GOD

I think novelist Sasthi Brata was the first modern writer of fiction to refer to God personally ("MY GOD") as if he had seen Him, in his entertaining novel "MY GOD DIED YOUNG" (published by Hind Pocket Books), which I bought many years ago.

Another entertaining novel by Sasthi Brata which I bought a few years ago is "CONFESSIONS OF AN INDIAN WOMAN EATER" (Penguin Books) adorned with scandalous nude sketches on the cover which forces Me to keep it hidden from the gaze of cultured guys.

Sasthi Brata writes in fluent English; he is probably the most fluent Indian writing in English. (I wonder however if "Sasthi Brata" is used by the clever publishers to TRAP the vast number  of Indian readers who have a craze for interesting fiction in English by male and female INDIAN AUTHORS, though the clever publishers hire top British and American ghost-writers to write interesting novels which are published under the names of INDIAN novelists ! Actually, this is a WIN-WIN situation!

The sweet gal on P. O. M. is very s.
