A HAPPY MARRIAGE
I have just posted the following comment on a YouTube video on Ann Patchett, author of STATE OF WONDER and other bestselling novels:
I realized long ago that a happy marriage is vital to the life of The Greatest Yet The Most Modest Scholar in the Entire Universe. Thanks. - G [What is G, please? I am too modest to explain what G means in public. Though I have explained the meaning of G to My consort several times, it seems she is rather absent-minded, rather DULL, to put it bluntly. It requires intelligence to comprehend the profound meaning of G.] - Kishalay Sinha [G]
STATE OF WONDER
I have posted these comments on YouTube on a YouTube interview with Ann Pratchett on her novel STATE OF WONDER:
* She [Marina] would have been glad to have lost her mind. She would have been grateful to see God. (p. 378)
* Universal desire of all sweet sexy gals with illicit dreams about Him. - G
* Mr. Fox's wife was named Mary... Mary had taught math at a prep school in Eden Prairie that both of their girls had attended. (p. 58-59 in My copy of STATE OF WONDER, Bloomsbury)
* "STATE OF WONDER is a riveting, intelligent and supremely moving novel about a doctor's encounter with the dark heart of a strange continent. With nods to both Conrad and Waugh, Patchett has given us a quest story for modern times." - Maggie O'Farrell
* STATE OF WONDER

* "How was it you?" he said.
"Karen wanted me to go, and Mr. Fox. I was supposed to find out what had happened to Dr. Swenson and find out how you died. I was so sorry when I heard you had died."
"No one thought I was missing?" he said. "No one thought it was strange that my body was gone?"
Marina shook her head very slightly against the pillow they shared. "Dr. Swenson said they'd buried you."
"But you didn't think I was." He put his hand on her shoulder.
"I did," Marina said. "Karen didn't. She held out a lot of hope for you but I didn't believe her. I thought she just couldn't accept it."
She was naked, in bed with her office mate, and in sliding out from under him she woke him up.
"Oh, Marina," he said. For the last time in her life, she kissed him.
By the time they boarded the plane, they had talked about everything except the thing they would never need to talk about.
There was a good case to be made for calling Karen from the airport in Miami - and a good case to be made for waiting, for going right to the house. Marina could see that there were equal parts of love and cruelty either way.
By the time they were in the taxi they still knew that something extraordinary had happened but they found themselves distracted. It was summer, and everything was more beautiful than any picture she had carried with her...
He had by then caught sight of two boys in the front yard. The door of the taxi opened like the door of a cage and Anders leapt out, calling their names. For a few moments the cab was stopped and Marina watched this world that had nothing to do with her. The front door opened at the sound of so much screaming, the boys were screaming like Lakashi, and the neighbors opened their doors. She didn't see Karen open her door but there she was, flying into his arms, her feet never touching the lawn. She was as small and golden as a child herself. It was as if they had waited for him every day he had been gone, holding their burning sticks above their heads, pouring their souls up to heaven in a single voice of ululation until he came back. And Marina brought him back [did she? - G], and without a thought that anyone should see her, she told the driver to go on. (from pp. 386-391)
I saw a gorgeous "hippy" gal "Ms. Z" in Bombay/Mumbai many years ago who might be named Mary... My hectic days in Bombay/Mumbai occurred many years before My arranged marriage. My consort is Swarna [Golden] Lakshi [Goddess of Wealth], Golden Goddess of Wealth. (I disdain what earthlings call "wealth"... Grapes are sour?) My consort never "flies into My arms". We are not over-sentimental... For many years I NEVER TOLD ANYONE what sensational earth-shaking things I did in Bombay/Mumbai. (Now all My online readers know.) - G

I should add that My consort is not familiar with the weird practice of levitation - keeping her feet in the air, never touching the ground for a long time.

I regard all gals as equal in regard to artificial changeable religions and artificial changeable nationalities. Still, I am curious to know if Faye D'Souzs is a "Muslim" - Faye? - "Christian" - D'Souza? ... Is her husband Sagar Gokhale the present "reincarnation" of "expired" Gopal Krishna Gokhale? I am A Strong 100% Believer in repeated "reincarnations". Deception is the dominant principle in this sordid world. - G
I am neither certifying nor discounting the authenticity of Faye D'Souza. I am only saying she speaks fluent English.
The terrifying truth is that God-induced VIOLENT EARTHQUAKE has started the destruction of male and female aliens.
