Although Isaac Asimov died in 1992, I have no doubt that an endless number of Isaac Asimov's "hitherto unpublished manuscripts" will continue to be found and will continue to be published, just as Ian Fleming's James Bond and Robert Ludlum's thrillers continue to be published. (Isaac Asimov was a fascinating writer like the late Norman Lewis.)

I find it very intriguing that in response to My inquiry, the U.S. Library of Congress informed Me some years ago that this world-famous library had travel books by (British author) Norman Lewis but did NOT have the fascinating word guide "THE COMPREHENSIVE WORD GUIDE" by Norman Lewis - which was published in 1958 according to the publishing history stated in My copy of THE COMPREHENSIVE WORD GUIDE (I obtained two copies of the book from the famous world-famous sellers of used books ALIBRIS and BETTER WORLD BOOKS located in America). The reason I find this so intriguing is that the U.S. Library of Congress KEEPS A COPY OF EVERY BOOK PUBLISHED IN THE UNITED STATES - and this fascinating book was published in 1958. A conundrum. (I have a third copy of THE COMPREHENSIVE WORD GUIDE by Norman Lewis published in paperback by Goyal Publishers of New Delhi. I am a fan of Norman Lewis and Isaac Asimov/PF - Michael/Jesus/Michaelangelo/Shakespeare/Dostoevsky and Peter/Leonardo da Vinci/Tolstoy/Newton etc. etc.)

I found that the book was supposedly a reprint of a series of seven scientifuc lectures by Stephen Hawking but when and where the lectures took place is not mentioned. Equally crazy is the bizarre claim by CERN physicists that they have discovered the "God particle". Downright crazy.

I have just finished reading the short story "The Class Friend" [short story no. 23 (pages 228-234) in 49 short stories included in CLASSIC SATYAJIT RAY, Translated by Gopa Majumdar, Penguin Books, ₹ 399].

A touching story. Lee in Lee Road (page 229) reminds Me of Lewis. Substitute Mohit Sarkar's Class Friend Joydev Bose - Joy - and I am reminded of My ex UIC classmate. (I spoke to her only once - in class - for a few seconds - to ask her to lend Me a pen and then to thank her very briefly. That was all, however. The additions in the story are pure fiction.)
