This morning, I read "The Class Friend" - one of 49 short stories in CLASSIC SATYAJIT RAY (Penguin) - an accurate and faithful English translation from the Bengali by award-winning translator Gopa Majumdar - so I could easily follow the dialogue/dialog of this interesting film ...দারুণ গল্প - যদিও আমার হাসি পাচ্ছে এটা ভেবে যে হয়ত "ex gal classmate" না বলে "former male class friend" বলা হচ্ছে যে নাকি অভাবের তাড়নায় gambler হতে বাধ্য হয়েছে (translation: ex class friend মেয়েটা অনেক মেয়েদের মত তিনার প্রেমে হাবুডুবুখাচ্ছে a la Paulo Coelho ...  কি হাস্যকর ...) - Kishalay Sinha [G]    September 9, 2018
