Your cheque/cheque can be easily forged

YOUR CHEQUE/CHECK CAN BE EASILY FORGED

Criminals can easily forge your bank cheque/check.

A duplicate cheque/check, which LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE the cheque/check you have written and given to a bank or to someone BUT WHICH IS DIFFERENT FROM YOUR ORIGINAL CHEQUE/CHECK, can be made by unethical cheats very easily.

How?

Simple.

1. Your original cheque/check (with your signature and filled-in date, amount in figures and in words, and name of the payee) is SCANNED by a scanner and stored in a computer. (Very easy step.)

2. The scanned image of your original cheque/check is then CHANGED by first DELETING the date/amount in figures/amount in words by using PHOTOSHOP (keeping your SIGNATURE intact, of course) and THEN typing in the BLANK SPACES in the altered cheque/check DIFFERENT letters, words, or numbers! (Shocking, but very easy to carry out; even a schoolboy or a schoolgirl who has learned PHOTOSHOP can do it.)

3. The ALTERED IMAGE of your cheque/cheque stored in the computer is then PRINTED ON A DUPLICATE CHEQUE/CHECK, and this printed cheque/check will then look exactly like your original cheque, WITH your exact signature BUT with OTHER vital details CHANGED! (Your original cheque/check has been FORGED by the FORGERER very easily!) 

4. The ONLY DIFFICULTY is GETTING A BLANK DUPLICATE CHEQUE. Of course, a duplicate blank cheque carrying the name of the bank and the same serial number as in your original cheque/check can be made by a forgerer (who runs the risk of getting caught by the police) but a VERY DANGEROUS alternative is when criminal bank staff are involved in the cheque/check forgery, because I have heard that (please check if this is true) when a bank issues a chequebook/checkbook to a customer, the bank ALWAYS keeps a completely identical DUPLICATE chequebook/checkbook (with the SAME serial numbers in the cheques/checks in the DUPLICATE chequebook/checkbook as in the chequebook/checkbook given to you by your bank) in the bank's vault without the knowledge of the customer!

Criminals can also change COURT DOCUMENTS by using PHOTOSHOP.

Be constantly on your guard about forged cheques/checks and forged court documents.

I speak from personal experience. I had to do a lot of hard thinking and strenuous detective work recently to detect a shocking sophisticated case of cheque forgery using PHOTOSHOP, the criminal staff of two nationalized Indian banks (Central Bank of India and SBI/State Bank of India) being involved in the cheque forgery.
