I suspect that, like Facebook names and biodata (designed to attract members of the opposite sex), most inflated YouTube statistics about the number of viewers (perhaps designed to encourage beginners AND to make YouTube popular, a GOOD thing as far as excellent YouTube is concerned) is phoney. All is fair in love and war, it is said. (I consider it beneath My dignity to fib.)
