SHOCKING CORRUPTION IN ALL ITIs OF ASSAM

There is SHOCKING CORRUPTION in all ITIs of Assam. (Cf. NEWS 18 অসম). ITI trainees of Assam in all 29 ITIs ("Industrial Training Institutes") and their guardians are being CHEATED year after year. I know this from first-hand experience. I exposed massive corruption in the ITIs of Assam when I taught mathematics (workshop calculations & science) at ITI, Haflong, at ITI, Guwahati, and at ITI for Women, Guwahati... When I was asked to take the maths classes of My lady colleague Kabita at ITI, Guwahati, when she was on leave for about two months, besides taking My own math classes, I found that the blackboard in her classroom had become wavy and almost white, so I bought a big new blackboard as My gift to Guwahati ITI and got it fixed on the wall of her classroom - this was NOT done to impress Kabita but to make it easy for Me to do sums with chalk on the blackboard. (I did not inform My consort of My act of philanthropy for several months.) On a Teacher's Day on September 5, Kabita's ITI students in Draughtsman class invited Me to their Draughtsman classroom and gave Me tea and sweets - and the young boys and girls ALSO gave Me a greeting card with the wonderful words TO A GREAT MATHEMATICS TEACHER printed on the greeting card which made My eyes smart as I struggled hard to check My tears, which I consider very effeminate and unmanly for A Man... At ITI for Women at ITI, Guwahati, which I joined during a hot summer month, I called an electrician and paid him to repair the fans in the girls' Draughtsman classroom which were not running; bought black paint and got the almost white small blackboard in the "Draughtsman" class painted black; bought glue and stuck the laminations that had gotten unstuck on top of the large drawing tables the girls used for making architecture drawings. (I did NOT do this to impress the sweet girls but out of kindness!) Thanks.

Borah with his team of experts visited 13 ITIs of Assam, and then submitted his sensational report to the Assam Government. The A. N. Borah Report, a copy of which was given to Me promptly by A. N. Borah when I filed an RTI asking for a copy of the Report, reveals the SHOCKING FACT that NONE of the ITIs maintained any records of INCOME and EXPENDITURE of the huge funds for ITIs received from Prime Minister's Package and World Bank etc. THE LAST PARAGRAPH of the sensational A. N. Borah Report states that ALL THE ALLEGATIONS OF CORRUPTION LEVELLED BY K. Sinha [Kishalay Sinha] AGAINST the Director of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam, STAND VINDICATED. (Thanks, dear A. N. Borah... One day, a very scared Khargeswar Kalita, ACS, Director of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam, invited Me to his office and offered Me tea and sweets and then told Me frankly in front of several of his equally scared junior officers who held important posts: "Sinha - আপোনাক ভয় লাগে ৷ আপুনি উকীলৰ নিচিনা জেৰা কৰে ৷" I made no comment. D. research scholarship পেয়ে আমেরিকা যাওয়ার আগে আমার এক শুভাকাঙ্খী সহপাঠী অসমীয়া বাল্যবন্ধু জয়ন্ত আমাকে বলল: "কিশলয়, মনত ৰাখিবা, beauty is skin-deep." ["কিশলয়, মনে রাখবে, beauty is skin-deep."]... যেদিন Guwahati Airport পৌঁছে আমি প্লেনের দিকে এগোচ্ছিলাম, আমাকে see off করতে যাওয়া আমার ছোট বোন কুমকুম পেছন থেকে চেঁচিয়ে বলল, "দাদা! সাবধান! আমেরিকার মেয়েগুলো যেন তোমাকে না ফাঁসায়!" - এরা কেউ জানত না যে আমি sexy মেয়েগুলোকে উড়িয়ে দিতে অভ্যস্ত - বোম্বেতে দুটো sexy honey traps আমাকে ফাঁসাতে চেষ্টা করেছিল কিন্তু fail মেরেছিল - আমেরিকাতেও UIUCতে এক mysterious honey trap আমাকে trap করতে পারে নি, আর University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) dept. of mathematics, statistics and computer science (যেখানে আমি university থেকে M.
